The Last Spell

The Last Spell is a tactical RPG with roguelite mechanics in which the player defends humanity’s last bastions against nightly hordes of monsters. By night, a squad of heroes fights off waves of fiends with magic and weapons; by day, players rebuild and reinforce the city’s defenses. The day-night cycle blends tower-defense-style preparation with tense turn-based survival combat. Procedural elements and permadeath raise the stakes each run. Its gritty pixel art and brutal difficulty define the experience. Balancing offense at night with rebuilding by day is the central loop.
