Every trip into the tower in Ever Below comes with a fairly simple choice. Take the gold, relics, and other valuables you’ve already found back to the village, or head down another floor and see what else is waiting for you. The second option is obviously more tempting.
ShoninyasTube’s turn-based dungeon roguelite launches into Early Access today, sending a newly minted adventurer into a huge tower filled with monsters, treasure, traps, and plenty of reasons to keep pushing a little further. Floors are procedurally generated, enemies can be avoided if you don’t fancy the fight, and anything valuable you make it home with can help prepare your guild for the next expedition.
Getting greedy is fine, just make sure you survive long enough to enjoy it.
One More Floor Could Be Worth It

You begin Ever Below alone, leaving your coastal village on your eighteenth birthday to join the Adventurers’ Guild and start exploring the enormous tower sitting nearby.
Every floor is generated as you enter, filling the dungeon with interconnected rooms, treasure, encounters, and monsters. Those enemies are visible while you explore, so bumping into one doesn’t automatically mean you’re stuck in a fight. You can avoid it, approach carefully, or head straight over if you think whatever it’s guarding is worth the trouble.
Combat switches to a turn-based system, with equipment, resources, and eventually your choice of party members all feeding into how you handle each encounter. Then you have to decide whether to keep going.
Gold and relics only become useful if you make it back to the village with them. If the party falls before extracting, you can lose much of what you collected during that expedition. There might be something brilliant on the next floor, but there also might be the thing that kills you.
Every Tenth Floor Has Something Waiting
The tower isn’t one enormous stretch of identical stone corridors. It’s split into different strata with their own environments and enemies, with a Guardian waiting on every tenth floor before you can move into the next. Early Access currently includes five of those strata, taking you all the way down to the Guardian on Floor 50.
What starts as an ancient structure gradually stops behaving like one. Environments change, spaces begin to make less sense, and pushing deeper starts revealing more about what the tower actually is and why it’s there. Of course, finding those answers requires getting past everything living inside it first.
Bring Something Home and the Next Trip Gets Easier

Leaving the tower doesn’t mean starting completely from scratch. Back in the village, you can increase your guild rank, work towards new progression options, prepare equipment, complete quests, and secure rare Anchor Relics. Party building is part of the longer-term plan too, with additional adventurers eventually joining you so you can put together a group better suited to whatever the deeper strata are throwing at you.
That side of Ever Below is still being expanded during Early Access. The developer plans to add more of the intended 100-floor tower, alongside new enemies, bosses, equipment, relics, party recruitment and character progression. Village locations including the tavern, blacksmith, and church are also being developed, with Early Access currently expected to last around one to two months.
So there’s plenty still to come below Floor 50.
