BPM: Bitcrushed Demo Available Now

The BPM: Bullets Per Minute team has released a playable demo for BPM: Bitcrushed, the rhythm roguelike’s upcoming spinoff. Players can now download the demo immediately, marking the first hands-on opportunity to experience what the studio has been building since the project’s announcement.

BPM: Bitcrushed takes the synth-driven, beat-synchronized combat of the original BPM: Bullets Per Minute and pushes it toward a more experimental aesthetic. The demo gives players a concrete window into how the game structures its core loop. That is, roguelike progression tied directly to musical timing, where every action from movement to gunfire syncs to the soundtrack’s rhythm.

The release follows a period of anticipation from the community, which has been waiting for substantive footage and playable content since the spinoff was first revealed. By putting the demo in players’ hands rather than relying solely on trailers or streams, bpmgame is letting the gameplay speak for itself, a particularly smart move for a title where the combination of mechanics and music is the entire draw.

Those curious about the project can grab the demo now. The full release remains unscheduled, meaning this demo serves as both proof of concept and a testing ground for player feedback before the final version ships. For roguelike fans who’ve been following the series, or newcomers drawn to rhythm games, the Bitcrushed demo is worth the download.
