Tiny Teams is an annual Steam festival hosted by Yogscast Games, built entirely around celebrating the games made by solo developers and micro studios. Rather than competing for space alongside the industry’s biggest publishers, every game featured here has been made by a team of five or fewer core members, giving smaller developers a dedicated spotlight they don’t always get elsewhere.
This year’s event is running from August 6th through to August 13th, giving players a full week to explore discounts, demos, and everything else the festival has to offer, with more than 200 titles taking part, spanning everything from global indie bestsellers to smaller, up-and-coming passion projects that haven’t had their moment in the spotlight yet.
What makes Tiny Teams stand out is just how selective it is. According to Yogscast Games, last year’s festival saw over 2,200 submissions from developers around the world, with only around 250 games making the final cut, so the lineup isn’t just big, it’s genuinely packed with quality.
The festival also extends beyond the Steam sale itself, with dedicated content running across the main Yogscast Twitch and YouTube channels throughout the week. It’s free for developers to take part, with no submission cost and no per-minute pricing to be featured, meaning the entire event is backed and promoted by Yogscast Games itself.
