You’re getting character skins from the anime, the ability to face off against actual Cursed Spirits instead of generic monsters, and competitive multiplayer where you’ll battle other players to be the last one standing. It’s the Vampire Survivors formula you already know and love, just dressed up in Jujutsu Kaisen’s aesthetic.

The announcement comes via Poncle’s official Twitter account, which has become something of a lightning rod for crossover reveals over the past year. At this point, the studio seems committed to the strategy of plugging Vampire Survivors into literally every franchise with a pulse and a moderately engaged fanbase. And weirdly, it keeps working.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s fast-paced, explosive action translates surprisingly well to the Vampire Survivors formula. Curses make natural replacements for the endless hordes of enemies, and the source material’s power scaling obsession means players will feel genuinely rewarded as they grow stronger through combat. The competitive angle is where things get interesting though. Whether Survivation leans into PvP or keeps things cooperative remains unclear from the announcement.
